Panomachine
A time-lapse video is a creative technique where a series of photos is captured at set intervals over a specific period. These photos are then combined and played back at a faster frame rate, creating the effect of time appearing to move quickly. In a time-lapse, slow changes in the scene, like the movement of clouds, the blooming of a flower, or the transition from day to night, become visible in seconds. Time-lapse videos are commonly used to showcase events that unfold too slowly to notice in real-time, revealing beauty and details we would otherwise miss. Here is a example .
Panomachine allows this type of work very easily by adding a very slow rotation movement . The motor of Panomachine has no play and allows very smooth micrometric movements (0.1 degree) . The smartphone can be placed in portrait or landscape position by tilting the mounting clamp. For long-term shots, it is possible to connect the Panomachine to a power bank (USB-C).
The programming allows you to set a time interval , a rotation angle and a number of images :
- time interval between 1s and one hour
- rotation angle between 0 and 360 degrees in both directions
- number of images between 25 and 2000
